This year, Kris and Kenan travelled to the Tucson Gem Show, one of the largest gemstone gatherings in the world. It’s a place where stone cutters, miners, collectors, and designers come together from every corner of the globe.

The experience is part treasure hunt, part creative inspiration.

Finding the right stones takes patience. Kris and Kenan spend hours perusing the vendors, searching for pieces that stand out and feel worthy of becoming part of our ib family.

Once the stones arrive back in the studio, the creative process begins.

Rather than designing in large batches, many One of a Kind settings evolve naturally around the stone itself. Whealan sits with the stone and lets the shape, color, and character inspire the design.
