Umoja is Swahili for "unity," and this bracelet was designed by metalsmith Whealan Massicott as a reflection of the sacred connections that hold our lives together — family, friends, nature, music, creation, and the Caribbean sun, sand, and sea. Each bracelet is individually hand-hammered in our St. Croix studio with the same craftsmanship as our adult Umoja Bracelet, making it a meaningful first piece of jewelry and a beautiful symbol of the bonds a new baby is born into.
