Whealan’s musical talent has always been a big inspiration for his art and creations. In the 90’s Whealan was in a Reggae band called Umojah. This was his first band experience which he came into untrained. This allowed him to express his creativity, flow freely and cultivate his art in an organic way. He infuses this same creative free flow into his jewelry creations today. In Whealan's words, "...organic influence, curiosity, and continued exploration inspires life." Whealan's experiences as a member of the Umojah band in the 90s highlights his understanding of the power of collaboration and harmony in creating something beautiful and meaningful.
